Stop 1

Your local great guide will pickup from your downtown Guangzhou hotel or train station if you travel by train. Upon meeting, spend few mins to discuss about the places you are interested to visit. As private tour, the itinerary is fully customized or tailor to your needs. Following is the sample itinerary, be sure to let your guide know if need make any changes. First make a stop at Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, once built in the Qing Dynasty by wealthy Chen family, now displays exquisite wood, brick, stone, clay, ivory carvings and the unique and rare collections of silk embroidery, ceramics, painting etc. Get great overview of traditional Lingnan culture, custom while appreciate the charming old architectures.

Stop 2

Next head to one of the city’s oldest Buddhist Temple, Temple of Six Banyan Tree, explore different complex of the monastery, pagoda while learning the fascinating religious culture, custom and wisdom from your guide.

Continue the tour to pearl River and Zhujiang New Town, marvel at the fast development of the city in the past years, admire the genius design of the world class architecture such as Canton Tower, Guangzhou Opera house, Guangzhou Library etc. On a nice clear day, you could choose to go up to the observation deck at Canton Tower to enjoy a spectacular view of the old and new Guangzhou.

Then follow your guide to Shamian Island, former British and French concession, now a charming, quaint oasis in the city, enjoy a nice stroll along cobbled streets while appreciate the historic architectures that evoking the memories of 1930’s, learn the colonial history of Guangzhou from your guide and have some great photoshoots here.

After the great adventure you will be dropped off at your downtown Guangzhou hotel or other downtown area as per your request.
