Your driver guide will pick you up at 9:00 am or at a time of your choice from the lobby of your hotel, Guilin Railway Station, Guilin Airport, Guilin city center, or any other designated location.

Stop 2

It takes about 2.5 hours to drive to Dazhai Jinkeng Rice Terraces from Guilin city. Located in Longsheng County, Dazhai Jinkeng is part of the Longji Rice Terrace Field and is renowned for having the largest rice fields in the area. It is also home to the Zhuang and Yao ethnic minority communities.

Dazhai Jinkeng is the only section of the Longji Rice Terrace scenic area where you can take a ropeway. The round trip takes about 50 minutes and offers a panoramic view of the terraced fields. From the glass-enclosed ropeway, you can see the terraced fields stretching from the base to the summit of the mountain, creating a truly spectacular sight. At Golden Buddha Peak, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Jinkeng Scenic Area. Visitors can also explore the area on foot and take photos from the mountaintop, capturing the stunning beauty of the rice terraces.

Afterward, we will have lunch in Huangyao Village, where you can savor local delicacies such as bamboo rice, bamboo chicken, smoked pork, and more.

Following lunch, we can visit Huangluo Yao Village, an ancient Chinese village famous for its unique tradition of long hair. Nestled at the foot of the mountain, the village is traversed by the Jinsha River. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore old wooden houses and experience the rustic charm of traditional village life.

After a wonderful day tour of the Longji Rice Terraces, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin. The journey takes about 2 hours, during which you can take a nap and relax. You will arrive at your Guilin hotel around 6:00 pm.
