Our vehicles are XS models which add that touch of luxury from the standard Land Rover Defender with heated part leather seats, air conditioning and heated windscreens.

With over 35 years of experience exploring Scotland, Lake District and Northumberland our advice can be invaluable to make your trip into an adventure to remember.

From our unique location you can access probably the 3 best locations Great Britain has to offer all within just over 1 hour and key parts of Northumberland being a lot less.

Did you know Northumberland has more castles than any other county in England.

Please be aware these vehicles are still a working vehicle and we're mainly made for the agricultural and off road community so the drive is harder than you'd expect from a modern day car.

Not only are you traveling in one of the most recognisable iconic British vehicles, we supply you with the best equipment all included in the price.

From our Howling Moon pop up tents with memory foam mattress accompanied with a choice of awnings depending on your preferred set up. Our selection of equipment is extensive, from showers, fire pits, blankets, sleeping bags, lighting, washing, cooking and a lot more, all you need to do is turn up with a sense of adventure and your tooth brush.

Within just over an hour you can be in Scotland or the Lake District with the Northumberland coast only 40 minutes away.

We have over 40 years experience in the outdoors and can help as much is needed with routes advice, even booking campsites and anything else you may want help with.

Driving convictions can have an adverse effect on hire, a maximum of 3 points for either speeding or parking offences.
We love dogs, but you will need to hire our dog pack if you want to bring your pooch.

Tents take under 5 minutes to put up, the first time may take a little longer. 10-15 minutes to take down.
We have lots of extra's like bike racks, pizza ovens etc. please contact us direct for these and special requests.
Free parking onsite and we can also store spare luggage.
There will be further information that we will require before the vehicle can be picked up, we will be in touch to request once booking has been confirmed.
Bookings may need to be cancelled due to driver not meeting certain criteria.
We are dog friendly, we love them, but a dog pack would need to be purchased from ourselves.

Meeting point

We meet at the HQ you pass the pub called the Beresford Arms on the right hand side and we are 100m down on the left. The vehicle will be waiting on the roadside.
