Our Eco Tuor is a complete experience involving knowledge, application of self-sustainable elements, contact with nature, socialization in communities and cultural experience.

Our idea and plan is to make you feel, in a day or two, how integration between these factors is favorable to the Amazon. Our company understands that ecotourism is important and therefore, taking an initiative to offer you that experience. We gathered in this extraordinary journey, a comprehensive view of the factors necessary for the evolution of the human being, going through complete harmony with the environment. Welcome to our ECO TOUR!

We will start our “Indigenes tour in the amazon with Ecotourism” leaving Alter do Chao, crossing the Tapajos river, entering the cove that gives access to the community of Anuma, when there we will go to the CEFA (Active Forest Experimental Center) by *** Jerico (a kind of rural box pulled by a tractor, an unusual experience, which you will enjoy right from the start stroll). CEFA is one of the many aspects of the Project “Saúde & Alegria”, which has been developing various activities for 7 years, of which you will be part of one of them. We will see animal husbandry, participate in the seedling and cultivation process, learn about the implementation of technologies aiming to have a minimal environmental impact. In addition to this knowledge, your tour will be in an area built and planned to make the most of everything that is necessary to maintain balance with nature. A beautiful opportunity to take great knowledge back with you to put into practice on a daily basis.

Your guides are qualified people from CEFA, a team composed of professionals which shows the production of biological fertilizers, evapotranspiration basin and banana circle (which use the water used in sinks and toilets), beekeeping a vegetable garden (which meet the center’s necessities and will be our playground later). In addition, water tanks used for irrigation, which are filled by rainwater harvesting, Fish tanks with 25 kilos fish and a house of bio construction. Each of these items will be detailed during a visit.

This tour is an excellent opportunity to feel pure energies. Do you know why? For the simple fact that we can get our hands dirty, visitors may take part in the process, learning about the stages of cultivation, preparation of roots, planting and harvesting.

Let’s have lunch now? The lunch is a tasty experience of the native cuisine and after enjoying a wild chicken or maybe fresh fish; we can rest in the hammock in the middle of nature. Continuing we are going to visit the same stream at two different points: the lower point is a real film set, with Clear waters and full of life! At the other higher point, we will see a small dam that they use as a hydroelectric that we might also take a refreshing bath.

After combining knowledge with practice, we will better understand how the CEFA influences the development of communities. You can then end the tour by returning to Alter do Chao from this point or if you have an inner desire to learn and feel more we can visit one more community, observe customs practices, craft activities even rituals.
