About this experience

Over that, Nosy Iranja is really like you're on another planet, it's a unique natural wonder in the world. Iranja (small and large Iranja) is the island that turns into 1 island at low tide connected by a fabulous, unearthly beauty snow-white sand bench.

Our guests are not just tourists on Nosy Iranja, but guests of the local native fishing village. The locals provide us with our own palm hut for the entire stay. Also they prepare and serve a real, traditional Malagasy lunch for you.

You will admire and enjoy the snow-white coral sands of Iranja and the supernatural beauty of its coastline
You can enjoy snorkelling, diving, sunbathing or a short walk to the island’s lighthouse.

In addition we also offer a special 10-minute real diving experience without diving licence, with our mini diving tanks. But we also provide snorkel equipment on request, or even hammocks to be used on coconut palms.
We also take real pro GoPro videos of the trips and plenty of stills for our guests.

What's included

Private transportation
During the tour we allways provide snacks (like lokal sweet and salted banana chips) and fresh tropical (sesonal) fruits, like mango, jackfruit, litchie, banana, papaya, etc.
We will also provide you with a local phone card and a phone, including internet which works through the whole archipelago. During the whole trip you are welcome to use it.
Real Malagasy lunch in the local fisherman village, made and served by the natives. Delicious traditional Malagasy seafood and zebu stew, or chicken dishes.
Use of Snorkelling equipment
During the whole trip we providing cooled soft drinks, water, local bier, Malagasy Coco punch and even fruit flavoured Malagasy Rums.

Nosy Iranja is really like you're on another planet!
It's a unique natural wonder in the world. Iranja is the island that turns into two islands at low tide (small and large Iranja) connected by a fabulous, unearthly beauty snow-white sand bench.

On our day trip, you will admire and enjoy the snow-white coral sands of Iran and the supernatural beauty of its coastline. We will visit the jungle as well as the authentic fishing village of the island. You can enjoy snorkelling, diving, sunbathing or a short walk to the island’s lighthouse. The lucky ones can even see egg-laying sea turtles or just hatching turtles in the south of the island.

We will serve the Malagasy lunch, prepared by local people (crabs and shrimps, grilled fish, zebu stew, coconut rice, salads, and tropical fruits) in the shade of coconut palms in the native's village.
For nature lovers and true travellers, this programme is a must.
