We are a group of local friends that host bar crawls in Colombia. We wanted to give foreigners and tourists a unique "locals' experience", so we started these bar crawls.
This bar crawl consists of 1 local bar, the famous "salsa street", 1 salsa club, and 1 dance club; all located in the nightlife district of Cali. The north of Cali is one of the most popular nightlife areas among locals and tourists in Cali. We will meet at the first bar at 8:30 pm to congregate and converse. We will then proceed to the next bars every hour, finally finishing off at Espacio 10-60 by 12:15 am.
Sometimes locals also come on our crawls, so you may have the opportunity to connect with some Colombians and practice your Spanish!
The first location on our tour will be Distrito Bar. This is a locals' bar/pub and has a fantastic, friendly environment. Here you will receive a 10% discount in the check!
The second location on our tour will be the famous La Calle Del Sabor ("Salsa Street"). This street is an extremely unique occurance to Cali and you absolutely must experience the atmosphere. Every Friday and Saturday night, the city government schedules live bands and DJ's on this street to play salsa music. Locals pack in to dance salsa with one another. You will be able to purchase beer in the street if you like.
Our third location is possibly the best salsa club in Cali. La Topa hosts some of the most incredible salsa dancers in the world. The club is always packed with locals and foreigners alike- daring to showcase their salsa moves. If you are new to salsa, do not worry. The club is very novice friendly, with locals willingly to help those new to salsa practice their steps. Here you will receive a discounted cover of 10k COP.
With 3 different floors consisting of salsa, techno, and crossover music, Espacio 10-60 is the perfect location to end your night. This club has a great view of the city and serves very affordable cocktails (and bottles). Espacio has become a close rival as the top locals' favorite- almost surpasing La Pergola. Here you will recieve a discounted cover of 5k COP.
We will be meeting inside Distrito Bar. Please let the staff know you are with the bar crawl tour when you arrive.
Please show your ticket to the tour guide at the first bar.
