Detailed itinerary

1

Liocharis Olive Oil Press – The Heart of Kefalonian Olive Heritage
Step into the authentic world of Kefalonian olive oil production at Liocharis Olive Oil Press, a family-run mill with deep roots in the island’s agricultural tradition. Explore the journey of the olive—from tree to table—as local experts walk you through the cold extraction process that preserves the nutritional value and robust flavor of extra virgin olive oil. You'll savor different olive oil varieties and learn how to distinguish high-quality oil using your senses. A true tribute to the "liquid gold" of Greece!

2

Kefalonian Honey Michalatos – A Sweet Journey Through Tradition
We visit the Michalatos Bee Farm, nestled in the serene village of Vlachata. Here, you'll be introduced to the world of beekeeping and honey production in Kefalonia. Walk among the hives, meet the beekeepers, and discover how thyme, wildflowers, and local flora give Kefalonian honey its unique taste and health benefits. The private package includes a tour from honey production and bottling as well as a visit to the honey store where you can shop.

3

Your tour concludes at the acclaimed Gentilini Winery, a boutique estate near Argostoli, where Kefalonia’s unique terroir meets world-class winemaking. Explore the scenic vineyards and the cellar where the island's flagship varietals—such as Robola—are crafted with passion and precision. Enjoy a guided wine tasting session between differrent wine choices. A perfect ending to your day of authentic Kefalonian flavors.
