The best way to see the beautiful nature at Amager Beach is by rental a kayak. Amager Beach is a man-made sandy island which is over 4km long and have a lagoon in the middle between the mainland and the island. On the other side of the island you will find the ocean "Øresund". Here you will find a lots of birdlife and watersports such as kayaking, Stand Up Paddling, kite- and windsurfing.
Amager Beach and Kajakhotellet is located approximated 8km from Copenhagen Central Station. You can easily get here by metro to "Femøren" Station and from there it only takes 10 min walk.
