About this experience

Foodies alike, rejoice! This tour is for you. Embark on a culinary journey like never before as we pedal through the heart of Argostoli, exploring its hidden culinary gems and savouring the flavours that make this town a food’s paradise.

We first cycle to a traditional bakery where we have a Greek coffee and a pairing. After that we will visit a pastry shop where you have the chance to buy homemade products. The next stop is the Farmer's Market where farmers are selling their proud. We taste some fresh vegies and afterwards we cycle via de famous De Bosset bridge to our next highlight of the tour: a traditional Greek taverna. This is where we taste a delicious lunch. The final stop is an old family workshop where we have the best ice cream of Kefalonia. The food tour concludes with a group toast back at the meeting point.

Detailed itinerary

Embark on a culinary journey like never before as we pedal through the heart of Argostoli, exploring its hidden culinary gems and savouring the flavours that make this town a food’s paradise.

Passing by the oldest family house of Argostoli we cross the main square Platia Vallianou, cycling to our first stop: a traditional bakery with typical products of Kefalonia.

Our tour guide then will lead the group via the famous Kampana square to stop #2: a unique family owned pastry shop. Here we get a demonstration of one of Kefalonia’s finest and purest traditional products.

We continue our Taste & Bike Tour to our next stop: the Farmer’s Market, where we meet up with local farmers and their products.

Our experienced guide will now lead you to a traditional Greek taverna, where we have a Greek lunch.

After that we cycle to our last stop to enjoy Argostoli´s best ice cream at a traditional organic dairy producer.

Together with our guide we will make a stop at the harbour of Argostoli, where we might spot some sea turtles caretta caretta) as well.

Together with our guide we will make a stop on the De Bosset bridge, the longest stone bridge in the world.
