Detailed itinerary

The road to the town consists of a trip of approximately 3 hours from the city of Arequipa.
Main town of the Colca Valley where we will have breakfast, we will appreciate the warmth and beauty of the place. We will stay at the place for approximately 30 minutes.

A tour from Chivay to here for 45 minutes, when we arrive at the place we will have a reasonable time of approximately 1 hour and a half to take photos of this beautiful place and see the depth of the canyon, we will appreciate the flight of the condor and the slopes of one of the deepest canyons in the world. Then we will go to visit the other points surrounding the Colca Canyon.

We will visit the town of Maca, traditional in the Canyon, where there are different customs and a craft market where we can buy some souvenirs and take photos with the trained falcon and camelids. There are also traditional drinks such as Colca sour that you can buy if it is your preference.

We will visit the natural viewpoint of Andenerias where we will appreciate another charming view of the Colca Valley. Here you can see the old traditional terraces of the Colca Valley.

We will stop for 1 hour to visit the hot springs located in Yanque, which are waters from the Chucura volcano, with temperatures up to 36 degrees. We will enjoy its waters with medicinal and temperate properties to have a moment of relaxation and enjoyment.

Once again we return to the main town to have free time for lunch, after which we will board another vehicle that will take us to Puno, we will have another guide on the vehicle.

On the way to Puno we will make a stop to appreciate the tutelary volcanoes on the other side of the Colca where there are snow-capped mountains and thaws such as Coropuna, Ampato and Hualca Hualca, to see the thaws and the view of the Volcano Viewpoint.

Brief stop where you can appreciate the camelids, see the volcanoes and sell the traditional Coca bush, which you can buy if you want.

Before arriving at the city of Puno we will stop to appreciate a protected natural area where you can see the high Andean flora and birds of the place, here you can see a greater amount of fauna in better seasons.

At approximately 7:30 pm we will arrive in the city of Puno, disembarking as close to the city center as possible. From here they could go to the hotel on their own. Our service ends here. The trip from Chivay to Puno takes an average of 6 hours.
