Hoping to deliver not only a relaxing day amongst the vines, but fresh knowledge of your industry, small local producers and their stories. Also great vision to what the future holds for Tasmania wine makers.

We are truly local and have extensive experience in the Tasmanian wine industry, with great networks of producers, local knowledge, exclusive access and great relationships with the makers.

Because we are a private operator, small always small capacity we can remain flexible for your guest groups and customise to the needs and interests of your guests, after all they have come along way to experience quality Tasmanian wine.

Derwent Estate winery is set amongst and alongside the Derwent river. With spectacular river views, guests will relax while tasting the wines from the estate. Not to mention a delicious local cheese platter.

Specialising in cool climate wines, especially Riesling and Pinot Noir. Guests will hear the local story of wine families coming together with passion to create an award winning selection of varietals.

Stop 3

Enjoy a local café style lunch on us right in the heart of Richmond, The old convict heritage town. That dates back to the 1800's. These days a quant town with a slow pace, cafes, antique shops and art and crafts. Not to mention the biggest sweet shop in Tasmania.

Your next tasting is just down the road from Richmond, is one of your favourite boutique wineries, 'Every man and his Dog winery' In fact, this vineyard also creates it own chocolate. So guests with a sweet tooth can purchase chocolate and wine if needed.

This last wine Tasting really lifts the bar and passion. with a moody cellar door and urban tasting room, we love to finish here. Nick is one of Tasmania's best winemakers and is part of a family dynasty in Australian wine making. We are always impressed with what he creates and the way he goes about pushing the industries practices, styles and methods.
