Our route will wind its way through charming villages Bad Schandau and Hřensko, allowing us to soak up the beauty of the region's architecture. We'll also keep an eye out for the historical elevator to the observation tower, a Guinness World Record holder.
(Summer tour only) The 2km hike navigates us to the Pravcicka Gate. Approaching it from below, you will see the majesty with which it stands at the top of the surrounding landscape. It is the symbol of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and you will know why, once you see it.
After a demanding hike, you need to recharge your batteries, so the next stop will be a traditional Czech and locally renowned restaurant. A rich "a la carte" lunch will be a welcome and well-deserved reward. Traditional Czech and international dishes are served (including vegetarian options). We highly recommend trying Czech beer, which is one of the best in the world. This restaurant is very popular with the locals and has the best reputation in Bohemian Switzerland. We are always very welcome at this restaurant and we have a pre-booked table in the best place that will be waiting for you ready before our arrival. In addition, we have an advantage over other guests in the kitchen, so the wait for food is significantly shorter.
