The Bastogne War Museum is a huge World War II museum focusing on the Battle of the Bulge. The largest collection of military vehicles, tanks, handguns, and uniforms, is a true mecca for history fans. A must-see! We will tour it and then visit the Mardasson Memorial. Next, we'll visit the main square and take pictures of the Sherman tank there. Next to the Sherman stands the statute of U.S. Army General Anthony McAuliffe.

The Bastogne War Rooms, an iconic location from World War II, house the McAuliffe’s historical cellar where on December 22, 1944, Brigadier General McAuliffe of the 101st Airborne Division uttered his famous "NUTS" in response to the surrender request from German forces besieging the town of Bastogne.
