Detailed itinerary

1

This captivating Zurich excursion commences at the hotel. A warm welcome awaits you from our friendly driver just out in the hotel hall. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, embarking on a 60 minutes journey through the scenic beauty of Zurich.

2

Lake Lungern is a natural lake in Obwalden, Switzerland which is named after the town Lungern on its shore. The lake is drained by the Sarner Aa river, which flows through the Sarnersee and into Lake Lucerne. The lake was originally much larger, and covered a large part of the valley it is situated in.

3
Stop 3

The Aare Gorge is a section of the river Aare that carves through a limestone ridge near the town of Meiringen, in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland.

4

Feel the refreshing, swirling spray of the Giessbach Falls
Enjoy the majestic natural spectacle and watch how the water from the Giessbach stream plunges down a total of 14 steps into the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz. Wherever you are on the circular hiking trail that starts at the Grandhotel Giessbach, you’ll always be in earshot of the striking thunder of the Giessbach Falls.

5

Brienz is a village on the northeast shore of Lake Brienz, in Switzerland’s Bernese Oberland region. The village's 18th-century wooden chalets and the sculptures dotted throughout the village are testimonials to a woodcarving tradition. North, a steam train runs up Brienzer Rothorn Mountain, with views of the lake and surrounding Alps. East of Brienz, the Ballenberg Open Air Museum offers glimpses of rural life.

6

Interlaken is a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. Built on a narrow stretch of valley, between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, it has old timber houses and parkland on either side of the Aare River. Its surrounding mountains, with dense forests, alpine meadows and glaciers, has numerous hiking and skiing trails.

7

Lauterbrunnen is a municipality in the Swiss Alps. It encompasses the village of Lauterbrunnen, set in a valley featuring rocky cliffs and the roaring, 300m-high Staubbach Falls. Nearby, the glacial waters of Trümmelbach Falls gush through mountain crevices past viewing platforms. A cable car runs from Stechelberg village to Schilthorn mountain, for views over the Bernese Alps.

8

The Trümmelbach Falls in Bernese Oberland, Switzerland, are a series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain made accessible by the tunnel lift, stairs, and illumination.

9

Isenfluh is a hamlet in Switzerland, north of the road from Wilderswil to Lauterbrunnen. It is first mentioned in 1319 as Ysenfluo and in 1401 people from the Lötschental started to settle in the small hamlet.

10

After the guided tour, relish in 1 hours of free time. Your guide will drop you off at a convenient location, allowing you to walk.

11

After a day filled with delights, our comfortable private vehicle will whisk you back to your hotel, brimming with cherished memories.
