Detailed itinerary

1

This captivating Crete excursion commences at the center of Ano Kera city or hotels. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, embarking on a 30-minute journey through the scenic beauty of Greece.

2

Our first stop is Potamines, a representative village on the island of Crete. We will visit a traditional farm and witness activities such as animal milking and cheese making. During our visit, we will have the opportunity to taste traditional products like fresh cheese, olive oil, and rakomelo.

3

The next destination is the Aposelemis dam, which is the largest water supply project in Crete. The village of Sefendili is submerged in the waters of the dam, with its old houses fading on the surface. It is also a natural wetland with a diverse range of bird species.

4

We will hike on dirt roads, passing through the gorge of "Ebassas". The stunning mountains and natural beauty will be worth it. The guide will collect local herbs during a quick break, as the Cretans did.

5

Next, we will visit the longest windmill line in Crete, located at the entrance of the Lasithi Plateau. During this stop, there will be a chance to take panoramic photos and learn about the history of windmills in Crete.

6

Visitors have the option to explore the Lassithi Plateau, which is home to the cave of the god Zeus, or simply relax with a walk or coffee while enjoying the panoramic view from one of the local cafeterias. Please note that the ticket to the cave is not included.

7

Following the meal, we will have the opportunity to savor exquisite and authentic cuisine, prepared in a traditional tavern with a wood-fired oven. The meal will include food, as well as wine and water. If you have any food allergies or specific dietary requirements, kindly inform us.

8

Prepare to be transported back in time as we make our final stop in the charming village of Krasi. As you step onto the village square, your eyes will be immediately drawn to the majestic presence of three colossal plane trees, standing tall and proud. And amidst their grandeur, stands a true marvel - the largest and most ancient plane tree you've ever laid eyes on, with over 2000 years of stories to tell.

9

Experience the awe-inspiring grand finale as your eyes feast upon the breathtaking panoramic view from Sissi to Analipsi. Don't miss the opportunity to seize stunning photographs that perfectly encapsulate the ethereal beauty of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

10

After the guided tour, relish in 1 hour of free time. Your guide will drop you off at a convenient location, allowing you to savor lunch and indulge in some retail therapy.

11

After a day filled with delights, our comfortable private vehicle will whisk you back to your hotel or city center, brimming with cherished memories. Trust our decade-long expertise in organizing private tours and exploring the city view with utmost comfort and peace of mind.
