Stop 1

Get ready for a delicious evening in Istanbul!
Your tour begins at 6:00 PM at the Historic Tunnel station in Karaköy, where you’ll meet your guide and hear a short introduction about Istanbul and the route ahead. Then, take a ride on the world’s second-oldest metro to reach the lively Pera district.

Wandering through its narrow streets, your first stop is for a durum kebab served with a refreshing Turkish soda. Your guide will share the story behind this beloved local dish. Next, you’ll taste kokoreç, stuffed mussels, fried mussels, and enjoy a glass of traditional Salgam (fermented turnip juice).
As you walk along Istiklal Street, you will hear stories about historical landmarks such as the Cicek Pasaji and Mısır Apartment.

Then, enjoy a serving of tantuni with ayran, a classic Turkish street combo.
The next stop is a traditional pickle shop, where you will try mixed pickle juice (spicy if you wish!) Continue through Cihangir’s artsy streets, passing cozy cafes, galleries, and historic sites before visiting the Kılıç Ali Paşa Mosque and bath.
Finally, return to Karaköy to taste a spicy fish wrap, then finish your evening with a sweet note: baklava and authentic Turkish coffee.
