About this experience

Embark on a day tour to Mabul and Kapalai from Semporna with a combination of swimming, sightseeing and snorkelling or diving. Observe local fishes, water village, coral reefs, visit the underwater world that offer distinction, and enjoy a delicious homemade lunch box on top of the excursion.

Upon arrival at Mabul Island Resort, get a free leisure, bask in the sun, capture panoramic photographs in a self guided with lunch, gaze out the blue sea and enjoy the water village, known as hidden paradise among locals. Next listen to your expert guide's short briefing on snorkelling or diving and safety procedure. Put on your gear and wade into the water.

After that proceed to the kapalai coastline, then discover another snorkelling or diving with its distinctive blue colour of water and marine life. A boat journey and leisure time might last more depending on sea currents and the condition of the weather. Once the kapalai concludes, we will be returning back to jetty.

The tour commences at the Semporna jetty, with a brief registration process is conducted. enjoy a hassle-free one hour average boat transfer from the meeting point to the starting island of Mabul island.

Upon arriving at Mabul Island Resort, which is renowned as a secret water village paradise among locals. spend some free time basking in the sun, taking panoramic shots on a self-guided and free time with lunch, gazing out at the azure sea, and enjoying the water village. continue with lunch and meet at the designated meeting area provided by instructor.

Next, listen to your experienced guide's briefing on snorkelling or diving safety procedures. Put on your gear and wade in the water. Your instructor will be available to offer support at every stage. Then, put on your gear and wade into the water. Experience the exhilaration of snorkelling or diving and explore the breathtaking exotic marine species and numerous reefs within the vicinity.

Following that, Proceed to the Kapalai beach, which is around 15 minutes by speedboat from the famed Sipadan Island. Discover another snorkelling or diving spot with a particular blue water hue caused by unusual light refraction. You may see turtles, butterflyfish, black rays, and a variety of bright house reef colours, among other marine life. A boat journey and leisure time might last more depending on sea currents and the condition of the weather.

Once the Kapalai concludes, we will be returning back to jetty for your next adventure.

Seeing sea turtles is possible by luck, but by no means guaranteed, because these are wild creatures - please be understandable about nature habitat.
We dive in shallow water with an average depth of 2,5 meters, max 6 meters only.
Please advise the weather, sea & government approval may hinder the tour starting and ending time, the sea current is something we cant control.
Please wear wetsuit if you have it.
No scuba diving certificate is required (for DSD diving)

Your crew will meet at the Jetty Pelancongan Semporna and search for Sea Gypsies Travel shop. Kindly head to this maps before the tour commencement time, from there, we will notify you via whatsApp or reservation message a day before arrival. A valid reservation is required, not possible walk in.
