You will be picked up from Moshi town and drive to Materuni village about 15 km up on the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro approximately 1800M above the sea level and notice the change of weather with cooler climate,lush green landscape.After registration you begin the hike to waterfalls about 45 minutes along banana and coffee farms with breathtaking view along the way
Later you will return to the village for a Coffee tour at a home of a local and learn how Coffee is being cultivated; dried, roasted and further processed .You will also be invited to participate on preparation and savour a cup of coffee you helped to make
