About this experience

Rent our 100% Clear Canoes and paddle down the beautiful spring fed Silver River! While paddling you will come across local wildlife such as birds, fish, manatees, and rhesus monkeys to name a few! Our Clear Canoes offer a unique experience for viewing the wildlife beneath you!

Most springs in Florida have just one spring head. At Silver Springs there are 30 documented spring heads. With your Clear Canoeing rental you are able to paddle over the spring heads an enjoy the view.

You are renting the canoe and you are free to explore without being tied down to a guide. No guide mean are you not rushed to keep up the pace. You can take your time viewing the wildlife and getting plenty of photos.

Within Silver Springs State Parks dogs are permitted on a leash. Dogs MUST be on a leash at all times. Dogs are allowed on our canoe rentals.

Each clear canoe is tandem. If you would like to ride solo you need to pay for an additional person with their name as "Solo".

Welcome to Clear Canoeing. We offer self guided rentals at Silver Springs State Park. Enjoy a clear view of manatees, wild monkeys, turtles and so much more. Silver Springs is the oldest tourist attraction in the state of Florida because of its untouched beauty.

Silver Springs State Park charges admission and launch fees. It is $2 per person and $4 per kayak. Please plan accordingly for wait times with lines. We encourage all guests to show up 20-30 minutes early to have time to pay your state park fees and use the restrooms.

Weight limit of 250lbs per seat and 400lbs for the whole canoe.
All canoes are tandem. The canoes comfortably fit 2 people maximum. One small child is permitted with 2 adults if the weight limit is not exceeded.
Dogs are permitted. They must be leashed at all times.
Drinks and snacks are permitted. Please remove your trash when complete.

Enter park at the large wooden and brick sign that says Silver Springs Entrance. At the stop sign turn left to the main parking lot. On the side of the parking is the kayak drop of area. We will be at the kayak drop off area. Our clear kayaks have American flag life jackets.
