Wine tasting at wine bars in Venice’s Old Town. Enjoy the city's romantic atmosphere as you taste different wines. The selection will include red, white and rose wine to try and compare the different flavors, aromas and colors. Your experienced Private Guide will give you tips on how to use all your senses for the sensory examination to identify different wine features and qualities. Of course, you will also learn general information about winemaking in Italy, its wine regions and grape varieties. Venice belongs to the Veneto wine region and its wines are considered to be one of the best in all of Italy. Italy is one of oldest wine-drinking cultures in the world, so there will be a lot of interesting facts about the Italian love for wine that dates back to ancient Rome.
