Detailed itinerary

After pickup from your accommodation, we will head up to the Igeldo Mountain to contemplate the spectacular panoramic views of the city of San Sebastian and the Concha Bay, while learning about the history of the city and the region of Gipuzkoa.

Stop 2

Guided stroll through the fisherman's district of La Marina and the medieval old town of the village of Hondarribia. We will witness some of the fishing traditions of the village and admire its link with the sea.

If desired, we will provide free time for lunch at any of the renown pintxo bars or restaurants of the area.

Continuing our trip westward, we will bump into extensive green fields packed with Txakoli vineyards overlooking the sea and catch a glimpse of our next destination: the beautiful coastal town of Getaria, known for being an important fishing sea port, home to the museum of famous fashion designer Cristobal Balenciaga, and the birthplace of Juan Sebastián Elcano, the first man to circumnavigate the earth.

Enjoy a guided stroll through the village and its famous port, while learning about its history, the traditional Basque fishing methods, and important personalities born in Getaria.

If prefered, we will provide the free time available for lunch at this town, famous for its grilled fish restaurants and txakoli (Basque white wine).

We will admire the spectacular coastline of the Province of Gipuzkoa and the famous flysch of Zumaia, one of the locations used for the filming of Game of Thrones Season 7, from this viewpoint - a wonderful photography spot.

From here, we will take a short stroll along the Flysch Route and contemplate one of the most breathtaking sceneries of the entire Basque Coast.
