A visit to the Sintra National Palace is a unique experience, allowing visitors to explore the various rooms and understand the historical importance of the place. The architecture and decoration are fascinating, and the atmosphere of the palace reflects the prestige of the ancient Portuguese court.

The Pena Palace is one of Portugal's greatest architectural jewels and an icon of Sintra. Located at the top of the Serra de Sintra, the palace was built in the 19th century, during the reign of D. Fernando II, who transformed an old monastery into a royal palace.

The architectural style is unique, combining medieval, Renaissance, Manueline and even oriental elements, reflecting the romanticism trends of the time. The colorful facade, with vibrant shades of red, yellow and ochre, and the imposing towers make the palace easily recognizable.

Inside, it is full of richly decorated rooms, with period furniture and objects, as well as an impressive art collection. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens, offering spectacular panoramic views over the town of Sintra and the Atlantic Ocean.

In short, the Pena Palace is one of the most visited destinations in Portugal, standing out for its beauty and historical importance, being a true example of 19th century architectural romanticism.
