About this experience

Luoyang is a historical city where there are plenty of history relics to visit. This private day tour will let you visit Longemen Grottoes, a UNESCO cultural heritage, Baima Temple(White Horse Temple), and Luoyang Ancient Art Museum which used to be the Ancient Tombs Museum. Stop 1

At 8:30am, your guide will meet you at the hotel lobby of the centrally located Luoyang hotel, then transfer you to the UNESCO cultural heritage, Longmen Grottoes, which was built 1500 years ago and still well-preserved with 2345 caves and niches, 2800 inscriptions, 43 pagodas and over 100,000 Buddhist images.

Then you will headto Luoyang Ancient Art Museum after lunch at a local restaurant, which used to be Ancient Tombs Museum. The museum opens from Tuesday to Sunday. There are three exhibition halls including Typical Ancient Tombs, Northern Wei Imperial Mausoleum, and Tomb Paintings. It is a unique museum to learn Chinese history.

Afterwards, you will be transferred to Baima Temple, White Horse Temple in English. It was the first Buddhism temple in China, built in 68AD. It is a typical Chinese temple including gate, bell and drum tower, hall, and garden etc.
Later, you will be transferred to transferred back to your Luoyang hotel where the tour concludes.
