A limestone outcrop located just north of Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines. Its main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, besides a steep 272 climb up its steps to finally view the stunning skyline of the city centre.

Istana Negara is a Royal Museum located in Kuala Lumpur, it used to be the residence of the royal family but now it is a tourist attraction. The Istana building was built by the British Colonial government to house its governors. Completed in 1869, it was designed and built by Colonial Engineer, Major John Frederick Adolphus McNair, and was known then as the Government House.

The famous National Monument, locally known as Tugu Negara, is a historic bronze sculpture that pays tribute to those who died in combat during Malaysia's battle for freedom against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency during 1948 until 1960.

Built in 1965, it was constructed to mark the celebration of the Malaysia's independence. Being, one of the South East Asia's largest mosque, it can accommodate about 15,000 people. The key features of the mosque include a 73-metre-high minaret and a 16-pointed star concrete main roof.

Merdeka Square, also known as Dataran Merdeka or the Independence Square, is a place that bears historical value to all Malaysians. The square is actually a grass field where a 100m high flagpole stands erect.

The highlight of the gallery is the massive Kuala Lumpur City Model comprising more than 5000 handmade miniature buildings and structures assembled to perfection.

A beautiful colourful temple with great views overlooking the city through the Ornate Chinese Arch. This Buddhist temple is dedicated to Thean Hou, a patron goddess of the Hainanese community believed to watch over fishermen. Many locals come here to worship Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy.
