About this experience

A full day of amazing and breathtakingly beautiful sceneries is guaranteed. You will depart from Ålesund by bus and soon travel along the magnificent Storfjord. Enjoy the green fields in Valldal where the most delicious strawberries grow. Walk over the bridge at Gudbrandsjuvet, a beautiful gorge where the clearest water falls down 20-25 meters into a ravine. Experience the adventurous Troll Road (Trollstigen) and enjoy the amazing view over the valley of Istradal from the top. Last but definitely not least, a visit to the impressive Troll Wall (Trollveggen).

This excursion without lunch lasts 6.5 hours, while the version with lunch lasts 7.5 hours. If your ship is in port for at least 8 hours, you can join the tour without lunch and return in time for your ship’s departure. For ships in port for 9 hours or more, you may choose either the lunch-included or lunch-excluded tour. We routinely begin this excursion 30 minutes after a ship arrives in port.
Trollstigen is closed for the 2024 season. The risk of falling rocks poses too great a danger to keep the road open until adequate safety measures are implemented. Trollstigen plateau is still accessible. Due to the route change, we will not be able to visit Trollveggen on this tour.

Meeting point

The meeting point is within walking distance from the port/pier and most of the hotels. Look for our staff on the pier, yellow jackets, carrying our company logo. Be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Please note that "gate" means "street" in Norwegian.

• If you have not already specified, you MUST advise supplier as soon as possible your "ship name" if your are traveling with a cruise line
• NB: In order for our excursions to be available for everyone, the time of departure/arrival of each excursion is set to match the itineraries of the cruise ships. In case a time of departure needs to be adjusted, you will be notified in time. All meeting points are within walking distance from the port/pier and most of the hotels
