Rockaway Beach is the best place to learn to surf! We have sand-bottomed beginner-friendly waves all year round and occasional world class surf for intermediate and expert surfers when big South swells roll into the city’s only surfing beach.

Surfing is held on the sand at Beach 108th Street in Rockaway Beach. The closest address for your GPS is the “Rockaway Beach Roller Hockey Rink”. Look for our Purple Flags & Purple/Blue tent on the sand in front of the hockey rink. If you have any problems finding us, just send us a text.
