About this experience

This tour leads to one of the most beautiful areas of Germany, the region of Berchtesgaden, also known as the Bavarian Alps Region. It covers the most important attractions of this area: the historical site of the Eagle´s Nest up on the top of Mount Kehlstein at an altitude of 6.017 ft.(1.835 m) with a breathtaking view across the Bavarian Alps, a visit of the salt mines inside the salt mountain on a guided tour and a lovely boat ride on the crystal-clear Lake Königssee. A break in the charming mountain town Berchtesgaden is also part of this tour.

By the means of an audioguide you will learn a lot about the Nazi era.in this area. This museum is perfect for history people.

Stop 2

You will have the opportunity to join a wonderful boat ride on the crystal-clear Lake Königssee. This lake is part of the National Park Berchtesgaden, where you still can enjoy pure nature with steep mountains and waterfalls. The information about this area comes from the captain himself.On request I will join you on the boat.

Stop 3

As your private guide I will accompany you on the Eagle´s Nest bus and the elevator and I will take you through all the historically important rooms inside the Eagle´s Nest, where I will provide a lot of information as well. Furthermore you will also have your own, free time to take plenty of photos and to enjoy the views.

Stop 4

Your accredited Salt Mines guide will take you on a tour through the magical world of salt into the underground. By a special train, slides and on a raft ride across a salt lake inside the mountain , you will experience and learn a lot about the white gold, which made the whole region very wealthy already 500 years ago.
