Cerro de la Cruz is a landmark of special importance because its height allows views of the city, the Strait and Tierra del Fuego Island. It is easy to get to it since we only have to go up Fagnano street, at the corner of the square, towards the hill and we will meet it. From the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint it is possible to obtain a wide panoramic view of the city with its multicolored roofs, the Strait of Magellan, Mount Sarmiento and the southern area of the Brunswick peninsula. In the viewpoint there is a pole with signs indicating the directions and distances from Punta Arenas to different cities in the world.
