On this tour we will visit Cerro de la Cruz, with colorful views of the city, the Strait of Magellan and the island of Tierra del Fuego.
Later we will go to the Plaza Muñoz Gamero that has been the heart of Punta Arenas since the late nineteenth century and enjoys great activity and craft stalls where it is possible to acquire souvenirs, in addition to appreciating the monument to Hernando de Magallanes and neoclassical buildings built by cattle tycoons.
The tour continues in the Salesiano Maggiorino Borgatello Museum, one of the oldest museums in Chile, whose permanent exhibition offers collections of local flora and fauna, colonial artifacts, ethnography, Antarctica, cartography, industry, and pieces from Salesian island missions Dawson and Rio Grande.
Before returning to the hotel, the excursion also allows you to know the northern sector of the city with its monuments, such as the one dedicated to the sheepdog, the Croatian immigrant and oil.
