Stop 1

Welcome to the first stop: Caldera de Bandama. This stunning volcanic crater, formed over 5,000 years ago, is one of Gran Canaria’s youngest and best-preserved geological formations.

At Pico de Bandama, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the island from one of its most iconic peaks. The panoramic vista offers a unique opportunity to appreciate the diverse landscapes of Gran Canaria, from rugged mountains to the Atlantic coastline. This stop sets the tone for understanding the natural and geological wonders you'll explore throughout the tour.

Arriving at Cruz de Tejeda, you'll experience a delightful blend of natural beauty and local culture. This high-altitude pass is not only a crossroads of ancient paths but also a hub for local artisans. Here, you'll have the chance to taste traditional Canarian delicacies and, if you wish, purchase some to take home. Additionally, you’ll enjoy incredible views of La Caldera de Tejeda, a collapsed basin that showcases the island's dramatic geological past, making this stop both a cultural and sensory highlight of the tour.

Stop 4

Embark on a hike to Roque Nublo, one of Gran Canaria’s most iconic natural Monument. The trail is approximately 3.5 kilometers round trip, with a moderate incline of around 200 meters. The hike is rated as moderately challenging, suitable for most fitness levels, though it requires a reasonable level of physical fitness due to the rocky terrain. From the top, you will enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Sacred Mountains, which are part of a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Conclude your tour at Pico de Las Nieves, the highest point on the island, where you’ll enjoy a serene sunset over the sea of clouds. This vantage point offers a breathtaking view of the island’s mountainous landscape, including the Caldera de Tirajana, an erosional basin, with the iconic silhouette of Teide in the distance further enhancing the majesty of the view. The hike to Roque Nublo is a challenging 3.5 km round-trip trail with a 200-meter elevation gain, rocky terrain, and slopes up to 60%, requiring good physical condition.

Available services include public restrooms at Pico de Bandama, Cruz de Tejeda, as well as snack and souvenir options at Cruz de Tejeda; there are no restrooms during the hike.

Weather conditions may vary, so layered clothing is recommended, and the guide may adjust the activity depending on the weather, terrain, or participants' conditions.

Sandals, strollers, drones, alcohol, drugs, and aerosols are not allowed, nor is eating or drinking inside the vehicle; respecting the environment by using designated bins for waste is mandatory.
