About this experience

This tour perfectly combines natural beauties and cultural heritage of “Old Montenegro”. This region offers an abundance of spectacular natural beauties, famous viewing points, and rare forests with two national parks almost crossing their boundaries…
The lookout at Pavlova strana provides the most beautiful view on the Skadar Lake, while the lookout above Boka Bay is frequently mentioned as one of the loveliest in the world. In addition, there is a view from “Montenegrin Olimp” – Lovcen Mountain, which is a home to the one of the highest mausoleum in the world.
On our way through national park Lovcen we won't miss the chance to take a stroll through an amazing beech forest, breathe deeply the air from a famous air spa at Ivanova Korita.
On our way back from the mountain we will go through the known village of Njegusi, and in the oldest cafe in the Montenegro we recommend you to taste far-known cheese & smoked ham.
Very much recommended is boat ride down meanders of Crnojevica river

Mount Lovćen, or Montenegrin Olympus, is a cult area for most Montenegrins, declared a national park in 1952 due to its outstanding environmental values, cultural heritage, and biodiversity. We will enjoy walking through the beech forest, sightseeing and from one of the most beautiful view points in Montenegro we will enjoy the spectacular view of the Bay of Kotor.

Njegoš's mausoleum located on one of the mountain tops, at a height of 1667 m is the highest mausoleum in Europe. With a monumental appearance, it is dedicated to one of the rulers from the Petrović dynasty, known for his philosophical thought, poetry and wisdom. There are 461 steps to reach it. And from the plateau in front of the mausoleum, you can see a large part of the territory of Montenegro.

The most famous Montenegrin village is the cradle of the most important Montenegrin dynasty, Petrovići, and a place known for its prosciutto and cheese. Located in the immediate hinterland of the Bay of Kotor at an altitude of about 900 m, it is a real air spa and a place that has played a significant role in the history of Montenegro for centuries. It is known especially for the production of prosciutto and cheese, so we recommend a tasting in one of the traditional restaurants.
