About this experience

The town of Cu Chi is a district of greater HCMC and has a population of about 200,000 (it had about 80,000 residents during the American War). At first glance there is little evidence here to indicate the intense fighting, bombing and destruction that occurred in Cu Chi during the war. To see what went on, you have to dig deeper – underground. To our tour, we will give you much knowledge about history of Vietnamese peope in war. You will have an opportunity to discover tunnels underground and much more understand life these days.

Stop 2

We head to Cu Chi – the network of over 200 kilometers of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the Vietnam War. The tunnel system includes numerous clinics, rooms, kitchens, storage, office, and system of underground. Watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed before entering the tunnels. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla-warriors’ food in war time). Then we come back to HCMC and drop you off at your hotel around 14:30
