The visit to the beautiful city of Cuenca includes places such as picturesque and traditional San Sebastián neighborhood, the Museum of Modern Art, the beautiful Plaza de las Flores, and its traditional Central Park called “Parque Calderón” surrounded by important and beautiful buildings such as the Cathedral of the Sagrario (Old Cathedral), Immaculate Cathedral Concepción (New Cathedral) considered the largest in Latin America, The Court of Justice, and other buildings of a French republican style. Also included is a visit to Homero Ortega's famous Toquilla Straw Hat Factory, where you can see the making of the finest hats.
In addition, we will observe the “Barranco” where traditional and modern architecture combines with the
natural environment on the banks of the Tomebamba River.
Finally we arrive at the "Mirador de Turi" from where you can see the landscape of a valley full of red roofs and blue domes framed by imposing mountains.
The tour ends once our guide drops the passengers at the Restaurant for LUNCH.
After the tour, passengers must return to the hotel on their own.
