Two options: the most popular place is St. Paul’s Bay, just down the main village road, along with Lindos’ main sandy beach, organized with sunbeds and restaurants, within walking distance.

During the inter-war period, Italians built Kallithea as a luxurious SPA facility to attract noble tourists to the springs with therapeutic waters and demonstrate the island’s natural beauty. If you are looking for a cultural experience, see the “Big Rotunda” exhibition to learn about its tremendous history and reconstruction and to hear stories about the SPA. Connoisseurs of historical movies will be interested in recognizing Kallithea as a set for the famous movies “Guns of Navarone” and “Escape to Athena." Kallithea also offers a beautiful beachfront snack bar where you can relax with your family or friends and soak up the atmosphere with a light lunch or a refreshing drink!
Is it time to wrap up our trip? Not yet! We continue our tour with the panoramic tour of Rhodes, driving through the most popular monuments of the city, like the Acropolis of Rhodes, the Temple of Apollo, the Ancient Stadium, Monte Smith Hill (for panoramic photos of the city), passing through the Underwater Aquarium, the Town Hall, the National Theatre, and the central post. Most of the buildings were created by Florestano di Fausto during the Italian occupation, combining architectural styles and elements of Byzantine, Venetian, Renaissance, Ottoman, and local Greek culture.
We are ending our tour by passing by the famous Mandraki Port with the two deer statues, the Three Windmills, and the Lighthouse of Saint Nicholas Fortress—perfect spots for photos! situated next to the Colossus site. Of course, we will be driving around the famous walls of the Medieval City of Rhodes, more widely known as the Old City, characterized by UNESCO as a monument to world cultural heritage.
