Detailed itinerary

From the pier, (or your selected point) you drive to the Medieval City to D’Amboise Gate. From this point your Guided Walking Tour starts with your Tour Guide, for pictures from outside of the most important monuments of the Old Town: The Grand Masters Palace, the Street of the Knights, the Ruins of Sent John Cathedral, the Archeological Museum, the Byzantine museum. Your walking tour end at the Marina Gate where you will find your Minibus waiting for you.

Your driven tour continues and visit the Old Harbor, where according to the tradition (not the real location), the Colossus of Rhodes once stood - One of the seven wonders of the ancient world. You get out of the Minibus for a Guided Tour (If you wish you can skip this stop and have more time in Lindos or other parts of the tour - Please let us know in advance or you can talk to your Tour Guide - the tour is 100% Flexible)

Stop 3

You continue to Monte Smith on the way you see the North point of the Island where the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea meet. A Panoramic Drive of the Ancient Acropolis of Rhodes (Monte Smith Hill) and the magnificent view of the West Coast of the Island. On your left side you see the temple of Apollo and on your right side the blue turquoise water of the Aegean Sea (You get out of the Minibus for pictures)

Stop 4 Pass by

On the way to Lindos you can see the Tsambika Beach - Sandy smooth beach with crystal clear waters

The drive continues south east 50 kilometers / 32 miles to Lindos, on the way a short stop at a traditional pottery work shop to watch a demonstration of how the famous Rhodian potteries - ceramics are made. Here you’ll see how the potter works at his wheel to make the famous rhodian potteries. You can also learn the mystery of the Pythagorean cup!

Stop 6

One mile before Lindos you stop at a vantage point for a panoramic picture of the Acropolis, theVillage, and the Port of Lindos. You continue to Lindos village and from this point your Guided Walking Tour starts with your Tour Guide through the village (walk the alleys of Lindos) up to Acropolis

If you wish you can skip the clιmb up 292 steps to acropolis, your tour guide can show you the acropolis from vantage points and you get your photos from a distance. This way you skip the crowds, save time, and have more time to explore the White Village. Just talk to your tour guide

Stop 7

Once you reach the summit of the Acropolis with your tour guide, you'll see the magnificent remains of past civilizations and enjoy the 360 panoramic. However, you can skip, if you wish the visit up to Acropolis and the 292 steps. Please let us know in advance or talk to your tour guide – The tour is 100% Flexible
LINDOS ACROPOLIS E-TICKET SYSTEM
At Lindos Acropolis, entry is restricted to specific time slots covered by the e-ticket system. Typically, visitors reach Lindos village approximately 3 hours after the tour begins.
You can buy online in advance, or few hours before your visit, or once you are in Lindos village before ascending to the acropolis

Stop 8

On the way back from Lindos we drive down to Saint Paul's bay, incredible wild beauty. Here is where the apostle is said to have landed in the year 51 AD to preach Christianity to the Rhodians. From this point you can also view the cave where the film “The Guns of Navarone” was filmed.

Stop 9

On the way back we stop at a vantage point for a panoramic picture from a distance of Lindos Beach. Wonderful white sand, flat calm seas and great beach side. The beach is overlooked by the beautiful acropolis. From the same point you can get your panoramic photos of the White Village and Acropolis of Lindos

On the way back we driver via the coastal road of Faliraki Sandy Beach. Open only during the summer season, its only purpose is to provide its visitors a vacation that they will not forget.

Stop 11 Pass by

We continue along the coastal road and see Kallithea Spa. In this naturally landscaped setting, the film "Escape to Athena" with Telly Savalas and Roger Moore was filmed. Some scenes from the film "The Guns of Navarone" were also filmed here too.

We finish the tour back to the cruise port, or the Old Town for free browsing (The Old Town is a 10 min walk from the Cruise Port)
