Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa. Reknowned as place where the rhino populations were saved from extinction in the 1960s, it is home to the Big 5 plus the majestic endangered Wild Dogs (also known as Painted Dogs), cheetah and other African wildlife.

You will spend the morning exploring Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa.
The Park is home to the Big 5 plus the majestic endangered Wild Dogs (also known as Painted Dogs), cheetahs and other African wildlife. Stopping along the way for a light breakfast and lunch you will enjoy the sights and sounds of the African bush.
The game reserve is a completely natural habitat therefore no wildlife sightings are guaranteed but you will have fun along the way!
If you are collected from St Lucia the transfer time to the park is approximately 1 hour each way.
Nyalazi Gate (Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park). You will meet your guide at the Reception Office at Nyalazi Gate. Your guide will identify himself to you at the Reception area.
