Embraced by Ria Formosa Natural Park we invite you for a pleasant walk through Olhão historical sights and it peculiar cubist houses. In fact, Olhão is known as the “cubist city” due to the original terraces and roofs of the houses - Açoteias.

Discover the legends in the old town such as the enchanted Moorish - the beautiful Floripes. Visit the main garden Jardim Pescador Olhanense where you can find an important episode from the XIX century ontypical Portuguese tiles and on the great vessel of"Caíque Bom Sucesso".

Every Saturday morning the street market gets fill with producers that arrive from the interior of Algarve to sell their fresh products. They offer a great variety of products from the best fruits & vegetables to traditional Algarve cakes, flowers, basketry,..,but also clothes, shoes, coats, handbags and many others...

The famous Municipal Market buildings are considered the Ex- librisof the city. In one building you can buy vegetables and meat and in the other twin builidng fresh fish.

Take the local ferry, explore the fishing island of Culatra and be dazzled by a fantastic beach. To make your experience unforgettable, we include a lunch of freshly grilled fish from our sea and clams from the Ria Formosa. On your return, the local ferry will take you on a tour along the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
