'Popeye Village Malta', is the Original Film Set of the 1980 Paramount Production Musical “Popeye”, also known as 'Popeye Village'. The film set was constructed in Anchor Bay during the last 7 months of 1979.
Popeye Village is open all year round and people can enjoy Guided Tour in English related to the film set, Meet Popeye and the Gang, become a movie star during a filming experience, enjoy Animation Activities, Silver smith demonstrations, a Comic and Memorabilia museum, a Cinema showing a documentary and get Free Popcorn once you are in there and Postcard and enjoy a round of Mini-Golf at the upper complex. One can also participate in a Scavenger Hunt to find the missing jewel.
