Explore the stunning Canyon de Turia and the picturesque white village of Chulilla—a favorite among Valencian locals. With limited public transport access, getting there can be a challenge. Let us be your guide, offering an insider's tour that immerses you in the local experience, just like a true Valencian.
We will stop for a coffee before our walk in the Charming Village of Losa de Obispo
We begin our adventure in the dramatic canyon of the River Turia, with its towering sandstone cliffs—a popular spot for climbers. We’ll cross not one, but two impressive hanging bridges suspended over the river, offering thrilling views below. At the top of the canyon, we’ll pause for a scenic picnic lunch, overlooking the rugged landscape.
Next, we follow a 4WD track through olive groves, with sweeping views of the striking turquoise reservoir, a peaceful contrast to the dramatic canyon below.
For the final section, we venture along a dry riverbed, gradually climbing to a ridge where the landscape transforms once again. Here, you'll gaze over a volcanically formed ravine, a completely different geological world, and enjoy spectacular views of the whitewashed village of Chulilla perched in the distance.
This route offers an unforgettable mix of canyons, cliffs, water, and wide-open views—a perfect choice for lovers of nature, geology, and adventure.
After the circular walk, we will explore the back streets of the white town of Chulilla before having a refreshing post walk drink in the main square Plaza Baronia before returning to Valencia
