Explore the beautiful area of Barsa Land, surround by seven different mountains, and discover the amazing heritage that the Saxon population built more than 800 years ago. With its impressive walls and strong fortifications, Prejmer seems to be more of a fortified small town rather than just a fortified church. From there head to Harman, the close relative of Prejmer. With its white walls, the fortified church in Harman allows you a glimpse into a different time, when churches were more than just places where people prayed, and they were used as places of refuge in time of need.
End the day at Rasnov, the citadel built on top of a hill, where more than 80 houses were built inside the walls to accommodate three villages in times of need. Walk the narrow streets of the fortification and enjoy amazing views of Barsa Land from the observation deck on top of the citadel.
