Stop 1

We start our private tour in Parque Eduardo VII. Its viewpoint offers incredible views of the city, ranging from Marquês de Pombal and Avenida da Liberdade to the Tagus and even the south bank of the city. Next to it is also the banner of the largest national flag in the country.

Then we will see the Belém Tower - UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of the most outstanding monuments in Lisbon, and a symbol of a country facing the sea and the discovery of the world.

Statue from 1940, made permanent in 1960 to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of Infante D. Henrique.

The Jerónimos Monastery celebrates the Portuguese territorial expansion and is the expression of a unique national style, the Manueline style. It is a monument to Portuguese identity, and houses the tombs of men who contributed to the greatness of the country: the navigator Vasco da Gama, D. Sebastião and Luís de Camões.
