The three-day, 26km trail meanders through hidden pockets of the indigenous forest alive with birds, to Tolkienesque dells of dense lichens, tumbling waterfalls and streams and, you guessed it, through exquisite fynbos.
On the Premium option, you will get an expert Fgasa guide who will share the stories of the fauna/flora and various social projects we are involved in through the Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy. Also included is a wine tasting with award-winning Lomond Wine Estate, a signed copy of a fynbos field guide, and a visit to Grootbos Florilegium.

We are situated in The Overberg, which is 2 hours outside of Cape Town. Our trail manager meets all guests at the start of the trail at Growing the Futures Project, Grootbos Nature Reserve. You will receive detailed directions and the gate code before your arrival.
