Guided tours inside the churches during masses and scheduled events are limited. If entry is not possible, the guide will provide all information outside
Free entry to the courtyard of St. Peter’s Abbey excludes the abbey, church, cemetery and catacombs. Due to the abbey's rules, you can visit the church and cemetery only on your own, without a guide. Entry to catacombs costs 2 euro per person.
The regular tickets to Salzburg Cathedral will be purchased on the spot. The Cathedral is usually open from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm, and on Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm, but this will vary because the church often organizes concerts and other events.
Skip-the-line tickets to Fortress Hohensalzburg provide faster entry without queuing at the ticket office. This all-inclusive ticket includes access to all areas of the castle complex and a round-trip funicular ride. There may be a short line to ride a funicular.
