Group tour of Salzburg to visit the famous Mirabell Gardens and discover other highlights of the Old Town, including sites related to Mozart.

We'll begin our walking tour in Kurgarten, only few steps away from the magnificent Mirabell Palace. Our Expert Guide will lead the group of up to 25 participants to the ornamental Mirabell Gardens and show us the locations where the Sound of Music was filmed. It’s a must-see for every fan of music!

Next, we'll head to the historic Old Town, admiring the views over the Salzach River along the way. We'll pass Mozart’s former residence and Mozart’s Birthplace at the notable Getreidegasse street.

We'll see the university church Kollegienkirche and wander around the Residenzplatz, home to Baroque landmarks such as Salzburg Cathedral and the Residenz. For guest safety, in the event of extreme weather conditions (such as snow), we will offer an alternative route to the gardens. From 21.11 to 05.01, you will have a chance to visit a local Christmas Market instead.
Public squares in the Old Town can get very crowded during special events such as musical performances, festivals, etc.
We're not afraid of sun or rain, so the tour will take place as planned, regardless of weather. Please check the forecast and dress appropriately. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
