You will have plenty of time to explore this unique attraction with an estimated round-trip journey. For your convenience, we provide private car transfers with pickup and drop-off at your accommodation.
Know before you go:
- Please check your email the day before the tour to receive important information.
- We offer this tour with an audio guide or a private guide, depending on the selected option.
- The audio guided tour of the salt mine takes around 90 minutes. You'll need about 30-60 minutes to explore the Celtic village.
- A private tour takes 2 hours. You’ll have free time to explore more on your own.
- Skip-the-line tickets allow you to enter faster by skipping the line at the ticket office, but not at the entrance. Admission is for the Salt Mine and the Celtic village.
- Wear warm clothing and sturdy shoes, as the temperature inside the salt mine is around 10 degrees Celsius and the ground is stony.
- Children below the age of 4 are not allowed to visit the mine.
- We offer private transfers from Salzburg in a standard car (sedan) for 1-4 people, or a larger van for groups of 5+ people. You can book a 5-people tour for a larger car. Transfer time will take around 1 hour (both ways), depending on the distance and traffic.
