Benefit from pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town at 8:00 am, we drive-by City Centre for a City orientation tour through some of the main streets in Cape Town. Your guide will share stories about the history of the monuments and important building you will see. We stop in the Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter), where you will learn more about the historical colorful houses of Bo-Kaap dating back to the slave history and culture of our country. Take the opportunity to walk with your guide in the Bo-Kaap and take some photos.
We travel to the Table Mountain Cableway Station where we will take the cable car to the top of the mountain to explore. See Cape Town from the top of one of the 7 Wonders of Nature, also one of the most iconic mountains in South Africa.
Table Mountain cable car tickets are not included in our tour price. Clients are required to purchase their own Table Mountain tickets. We recommend purchasing tickets online ahead of time to skip the ticketing queues.
Travelling along the Atlantic Seaboard, and passing through, Clifton and Camps Bay. Camps Bay is a very affluent area with a beautiful stretch of beach and promenade. Here you will capture postcard perfect photos with the Twelve Apostles mountains on one side and Camps Bay Beachfront on the other.
Thereafter we travel along Chapman's peak drive, which is one of the top 5 scenic drives of the world, holding its position at number 2. Its unmistakable beauty makes for a spectacular photo, which has left many a tourist speechless. We will stop at the viewpoint for a photo opportunity.
Upon our arrival back at the harbour in Hout Bay, the guide will be waiting to continue with the tour. We take a drive to Noordhoek where you can enjoy an optional coffee at the Village Roast. This is some of the best coffee brewed in Cape Town.
The highlight of the day is surely the Cape of Good Hope. As we enter into the nature reserve, your guide will share stories about this historical nature reserve. Amazing sightseeing opportunities are present in what is known as the southernmost western tip of the African continent, where the two ocean currents collide: Cold Benguela and the Warm Agulhas currents. We will drive to Cape point from the Cape of Good Hope, where you may choose to either take an easy 15-minute walk to the Cape Point Lighthouse or you can opt for the Flying Dutchman Funicular (Tram). Marvel at the spectacular views and snap some breathtaking photos. For lunch options we recommend either the Two Oceans Restaurant for a sit down lunch or grab a take-away at the informal eatery at Cape Point.
From Cape Point we will travel towards the False Bay area and stop at Boulder's Penguins Colony. Here you will be able to view approximately 2500 African penguins in their natural habitat. You may even encounter one or two of them walking alongside you on the boardwalk.
Our last stop will be at Groot Constantia winery, the birthplace of the South African Wine Industry and the oldest wine farm in South Africa. It was here that Simon van der Stel planted his first vineyards. Today, Groot Constantia is still one of the finest wine-producing estates in the country.
