In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and head to the incredible Masaya Volcano National Park, located just 30 minutes from Granada. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

Stop 2

Upon arrival at Masaya Volcano National Park, we’ll begin with a 45-minute hike to the volcanic cone Comalito, also known as the baby volcano. From the top, we'll enjoy breathtaking 360º panoramic views of Masaya Lagoon and its surroundings. Afterward, we’ll visit the park’s museum to learn about this active volcano's fascinating history and geology.

Next, we’ll head to the Handicrafts Market, where you can browse and purchase unique Nicaraguan items like leather goods, woodwork, embroidery, paintings, hammocks, and more. From there, we’ll visit Catarina, a charming white village famous for its colorful nurseries, bamboo crafts, and the best panoramic viewpoint overlooking the country’s largest lagoon, Mombacho Volcano, Lake Nicaragua, and Granada. Finally, we’ll explore San Juan de Oriente, known as “The Cradle of Nicaraguan Ceramics,” where you’ll visit a workshop to see firsthand how traditional pottery is made.
