With stunning views over the valley of Sintra-Cascais, you can see all the way until the coast-line (where we'll go next, after the Masonic Well at Regaleira!) Having priority at the ticket office, we skip the line directly to the gardens of Regaleira, exotic like the Pena gardens, but with hand-made caves and tinny castles all over the place. Just near the waterfalls we have the Free-Masonic Initiation Well from the XIX century, open to the public at day time. In here you will go down the 9 levels of Dante's Inferno, to find the Templar Cross with the 4 elements (wind, earth, fire, water)
After the first stage, the participants would have to "wonder through the bottom of hell" until they get to "the light at the end of the tunnel" where they will find the exit and reborn again. Outside and inside you can see many symbols of the free-masonry / templar order, among them many pentagrams said to represent the face of Baphomet
