Your private group escape to a lesser-known, remote jungle paradise! Capurganá is a rustic, car-free, natural wellness village on Colombia’s Caribbean coast, accessible only by air or water. You will be enraptured by its aqua-green waters, rugged shoreline, natural pools at the edge of the ocean, and eco-adventures. The ultimate adventure of this escape is hopping the border to Panama on a day hike and enjoying a local beach! You will learn about Afro-Colombian culture, and organizations that support migrants and preserving natural habits and turtles.

Air Inclusive Flight: Regional flights to/from this remote jungle village of Capurganá are operated by regional airline companies. Airplanes are twin-engine, short-range transport aircraft such as a Let 410 or a Cesna 402C.
Luggage: It is recommended to bring 1 backpack and 1 small personal item per person. Due to transfers, airplane size/space, ground transport size/space, and the terrain, it is not recommended to bring more or larger sized luggage. If you bring or accumulate more luggage or larger luggage, you may be required to book private transfers to accommodate your luggage at your own expense or pay luggage storage fees (if available).

Rustic Experience: Capurganá is a remote, jungle village. Therefore, this is a very natural, rustic and local experience. The town does have security, electrical power, solar power, running water, and Wi-Fi, but energy and water resources must be conserved. The 3-star cabaña hotel may or may not have air conditioning, but at a minimum a fan will be provided in each room.

Olaya Herrera Airport (EOH) Regional Airport. Flights from Medellin EOH to Capurgana CPB typically depart at 9:00 a.m. local time. Please plan to arrive at EOH by 7:00 a.m. We will contact you to confirm and coordinate meeting times and EOH airport meeting point prior to the tour start date.
