Lagoa das Sete Cidades is the largest lake in the Azores Archipelago, making it the largest freshwater reservoir in the region. It is a single lagoon with two different colors, the green lagoon and the blue lagoon.

Lagoa do Fogo is one of the largest lakes in the Azores Archipelago, it is the second largest on the island of São Miguel and is also located on the second highest point on the island.
